About the merged company.
Are CGF Security and CGF Electrical the same company?
Yes. CGF Security and CGF Electrical now operate as one combined business, CGF Security & Electrical, from the same Caringbah office. You get a single point of contact for both electrical and security work.
Can you handle a job that needs both electrical and security work?
Yes — that’s exactly why we merged. Switchboard capacity, cabling and camera or alarm installation can all be quoted and scheduled together in one visit.
Are you licensed for both trades?
Yes. We hold separate licences for our electrical work (Lic 478799C) and security work (Lic 400805C), plus a master licence, and every technician working on your property is fully licensed and insured in NSW.

What security brands do you install?
We work with trusted commercial-grade brands including Hikvision, Dahua and Bosch, chosen for long-term reliability rather than the cheapest option on the market.
Can I view my CCTV cameras remotely?
Yes. Most systems we install support remote mobile viewing, so you can check in on your property from your phone, along with AI detection features on many camera models.
Do you offer back-to-base alarm monitoring?
Yes, we can set up back-to-base monitoring as part of your alarm installation, so genuine alerts get a real response.

Do you offer emergency electrician services?
Yes. We provide after-hours emergency callouts for urgent issues like power outages, sparking wires, blown fuses and switchboard faults.
How much does it cost to hire an electrician?
Cost depends on the type of work, complexity and materials required. Small repairs are often affordable, while larger projects like rewiring or switchboard upgrades are quoted individually. We always provide upfront, transparent pricing before work begins.
Do you service both homes and businesses?
Yes. We provide residential, commercial and strata electrical and security services — from a faulty light switch at home to a full commercial fit-out with cameras and access control.
