Do I need a licensed cabler for data cabling in my office?
Yes. Under the Telecommunications Act, any fixed cabling that runs through walls, ceilings or floors must be installed by an ACMA registered cabler. We hold full ACMA Open Registration with structured and fibre endorsements.
What's the difference between Cat6 and Cat6a?
Cat6 supports up to 1 Gbps (with a real world range of around 55 metres for 10 Gbps). Cat6a supports 10 Gbps over the full 100 metre run. For most offices, Cat6a is the better long term choice, we’ll advise what suits your setup.
How much does commercial data cabling cost in Sydney?
